Run the Contacts app on Samsung Galaxy phone. In this demo, we use a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. If you use other phone model, you may see the difference in appearance. Tap the More options button, you will get a drop-down menu list. Choose Settings, then Contacts.
Now you should see the Contacts Settings screen on Samsung mobile with various options you can manage contacts on the phone, such as import & export contacts, contacts display, and so on. Choose Import/Export, you will then get a pop-up dialogue as below.
Here you can import contacts from device storage to Samsung, export contacts from Samsung to device storage, import contacts from SD card to Samsung phone, export contacts from Samsung phone to SD cards, import contacts from SIM card to Samsung phone, export contacts from Samsung phone to SIM card. You can choose either export to device storage or export to SD card.
Once the contacts have been exported from Samsung phone to SD card or phone’s storage, you can find it using My Files app or other file manager on Samsung phone.
